General Investigations
Using a variety of investigation techniques, Fourteen-Forty offers investigative services relating to a wide range of issues, including, but not limited to, insurance and WSIB claims; theft, fraud and other criminal activity; and matters relating to personal relationships.

Fraud Management
The volume of fraud has increased substantially in recent years and must be investigated by competent professionals. Fourteen-Forty associates are Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE), and members of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners trained in forensic accounting. Frauds are not limited to just accounting matters, they include product counterfeiting, grey market activity, insurance claims and collusion.

Security Consulting

C-TPAT/PIP Specialists/Security Testing and Training- Cross Border Transportation
Fourteen-Forty is one of Canada’s leaders in the preparation of Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and Partners in Protection applications. These US Department of Homeland Security and Canadian Border Services programs have become a necessary element in the cross-border transportation process. Our specialists keep abreast of current requirements, and we will assist you with every element from the initial assessment, through the audit, security testing, in-house training, background checks, and monthly maintenance to maintain your good standing. Our specialists will take your C-TPAT and PIP programs from start to finish or assist you with any portion of the process including training, physical and site security consultation and site penetration services.

Security Assessments
Fourteen-Forty conducts detailed physical security surveys and audits of proposed and existing facilities. We do not represent or distribute any single hardware line, so we are not limited to a single manufacturer of alarm systems, closed circuit television, electronic surveillance devices, locks, safes or other state-of-the-art equipment that we may recommend.
